Justice for Dr. Mary Joy!

She spent the rest of her Grade School days in Canossa Academy, Lipa City Batch 1986-1992 and High School at De La Salle Lipa Batch 1992-1996. She pursued Dentistry at the Centro Escolar University with 1996-1998 Associate in Arts, 1998-2002 Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
The sudden demise of our dear friend and classmate last January 24, 2008 at around past 1pm brought intense grief to her family, friends and loved ones.
She was brutally killed inside her dental clinic in Lipa City, Batangas by an unknown assailant. :(

Her remains will be brought to the
**Eternal Gardens, Lipa City**
after the 1pm mass at Sto. Nino Parish,
Pinagtungulan, San Jose Batangas.

Dentist stabbed dead inside Batangas clinic
A dentist was found dead with more than 20 stab wounds inside her clinic in Lipa City, Batangas, ABS-CBN News reported Sunday.
The belated report identified the victim as Mary Joy Duroy, 28.
Police said the victim sustained 22 stab wounds. Her skull was also bashed in.
Witnesses told police investigators they heard screams for help prior to the discovery of victim’s body inside the dental clinic on Thursday.
Authorities said aside from Duroy’s cellular phone, nothing was taken from the clinic.
Duroy was scheduled to marry her fiancé Marlon Cena on December 29 this year. Cena rushed for a flight home upon hearing of his girlfriend's death.
Police are now looking for a food vendor who reportedly saw the unidentified assailant enter the clinic prior to the discovery of the body.
